Job summary

Lockheed Martin’s EBDT Classified IT Transformation team is modernizing mission‑critical IT services for DoD programs. A Network Engineer will design, implement, and secure next‑gen infrastructure in classified environments, ensuring compliance with STIG/RMF and security best practices.

The role involves on‑call rotation, onsite work in Florida, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to accelerate product development for DoD missions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining network devices (switches, firewalls, routers).
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto devices and creating firewall policies.
• IAT-LevelII (8570-compliant) certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Proven classified infrastructure support and administration experience.
• Experience with DoD requirements and RMF in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine updates, major upgrades, patching, and vulnerability scans.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle compliance for hardware/software.
• Enforce DoD policies (STIG/RMF) and security hardening.
• Remediate findings and conduct security implementations.
• Provide timely resolution of infrastructure issues (hardware/software/networking).
• Update tickets and documents with accurate status and changes.
