Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking a Cleared Senior/Principal Technical Reviewer to join the Classification Office on site at SNL/NM. You will analyze scientific and engineering publications to protect sensitive information and develop classification guidance for DOE and other agencies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a DOE Q-level security clearance (or equivalent), with a strong emphasis on independent technical analysis, communication with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with classified and sensitive information programs for government agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex documents and translate key concepts into actionable logic statements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze scientific and engineering publications to identify sensitive (classified and unclassified) information in compliance with sponsor requirements and laws.
• Evaluate advancements and information requiring protection in the interest of national security.
• Develop and maintain classification guidance for DOE and other agencies.
• Create and deliver classification guidance training and briefings.
• Collaborate with DOE classification community and other agencies to resolve classification issues.
• Review and approve materials for Unclassified Unlimited Release and other dissemination designations.
