Job summary

PotomacWave is seeking a Classification Technical Project Manager to support a Federal client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on managing classification, prepublication reviews, foreign disclosure, training, and knowledge management within the DOE Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN), PSIM Division.

The candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop processes, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with IC and DOE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Ten years of experience in classification management, information management, or related IC functions.
• Strong knowledge of EO/IC directives, DOE classification guidance, and foreign disclosure policies.
• Experience conducting classification, prepublication, and foreign disclosure reviews.
• Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and leading cross-organizational initiatives.
• Excellent communication and briefing skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information management initiatives supporting DOE-OIN programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for information management projects and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct classification, prepublication, and foreign disclosure reviews with recommendations.
• Define scope, requirements, workflows, and roles for initiatives.
• Track risks, issues, findings, and recommend solutions to completion.
• Lead DOE-IN classification training, onboarding, and ongoing requirements for SCI-cleared personnel.
• Develop training materials, reference documentation, and program artifacts.
• Maintain SharePoint sites on classified and unclassified networks ensuring accuracy and compliance.
