Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to, and good standing with, at least one US state bar; ability to meet applicable in-house practice requirements; requires at least 12 years practicing law.
• Substantial experience handling class actions, extracontractual and insurance coverage matters, bankruptcies, employment matters, investment-related litigation and/or other complex commercial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle large-scale class actions, investment-related matters, employment matters, complex bankruptcies, extra-contractual and insurance coverage matters and other complex commercial litigation.
• Provide oversight and reporting for the class action, investment, bankruptcy and/or employment litigation portfolios across the Litigation Group.
• Define litigation strategy and risk approach for matters within the portfolio, with visibility across teams and business units.
• Advise the Litigation Leadership Team and senior stakeholders on significant litigation exposure and mitigation options.
• Anticipate litigation trends and drive proactive risk mitigation across the portfolio.
• Utilize technology as a strategic advantage, exploring AI-enabled improvements within governance rules.
• Contribute to refining standards and best practices for class actions and specialty litigation.
• Elevate team capability by mentoring junior professionals and developing knowledge management.
