Job summary
Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled diesel/heavy-duty truck technician in the Richmond, VA area. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and road call support for tractors, trailers, and reefer units.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
- Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and components repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
- Inspect braking, steering, wheels, and related components for proper operation and replace parts as needed.
- Ensure roadworthiness with proper licensing and registrations.
- Document work orders and repairs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
- Train other employees and support cross-team activities.
