Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units. The role requires ensuring compliance with state and federal trucking regulations and maintaining accurate work order documentation.

The position offers a 4-day work week, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and benefits from Day 1. You will work under minimal supervision and may perform road call repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, reefers).
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and related components; replace parts as needed.
• Document work orders and repairs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Conduct road call services as needed.
