Job summary

Inland Kenworth in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a skilled Class 8 technician to repair and maintain diesel trucks. The role requires hands-on experience, safety awareness, and the ability to follow factory specifications and repair orders.

You will diagnose issues, order parts, and perform road tests as needed. A CDL is a plus and strong computer basics are expected. This full-time position offers benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Class 8 technician in a dealership or truck facility.
• CDL license is a plus.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Regular, full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines per repair orders and factory specs.
• Diagnose customer complaints, identify root causes, and complete repairs.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and additional service needs.
• Document all work on repair orders and communicate status.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety Manual and keep the shop clean.
• Maintain tools and work area and ensure correct storage.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazmat etc.
