Job summary

Inland Kenworth in Fontana, CA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Service Technician to visit customer sites and perform repair and maintenance on Class 8 trucks per dealer and factory specs. You will diagnose and repair issues, communicate with parts, and document work completed.

We require 5+ years of Class 8 truck experience, CDL preferred, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. The role offers full‑time hours, competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Class 8 technician in a dealership or truck facility.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL is a plus.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Inspector certifications preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work per repair order to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses truck performance issues and conducts necessary repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Assesses safety or service needs and documents work performed.
• Road tests vehicles when required and maintains tool/storage discipline.
• Complies with federal, state and local regulations and safety rules.
• Keeps the mobile truck clean and organized after repairs.
