Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Claims Reps in investigations, settlement and disposition of claims.
• Review initial notices, determine coverage and screen for flow process qualification.
• Assign work to subordinate Claims Reps and delegate settlement authority.
• Establish loss reserves reflecting probable Company obligation and monitor reserves.
• Oversee subrogation or recovery efforts and coordinate with Claims Attorney as needed.
• Recruit, train and evaluate unit staff and participate in salary administration.
