Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex, litigated transportation claims or other commercial liability claims.
• Experience with third party administrators or insured's claims department.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, problem solving and mediation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with insured's in-house claims departments or third party administrators.
• Guide and direct the insured's claims process and settlements.
• Conduct claim reviews and monitor potential insured's supervision capabilities.
• Establish case evaluations for LOC purposes and ensure reserve adequacy on excess losses.
• Emphasize risk management and mitigation at a high level.
