Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex injury claims, consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others, and determine coverage, liability, and claim value. The role is hybrid, with in-office meetings about four days a month, and the option to work more in-office if desired.

The ideal candidate has multiple pathways to qualification (5 years with two in claims handling or 4 years with an associate and two in claims), and will bring

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
• Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim
