Qualifications

• Pursue AIC and CPCU designation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Adjust claims by telephone under supervision.
• Review notices of loss and verify coverage.
• Make initial contact with policyholders or claimants.
• Prepare claims for entry into the computer and establish reserves.
• Review work by independent adjusters for accuracy and completeness.
• May mentor or train junior staff.
