Job summary

The Jonus Group in Greenwood Village, CO, is seeking a Claims Manager, Regulatory Compliance to oversee claims management and support regulatory obligations for a captive insurer. The role requires detailed knowledge of claims lifecycle, policy language, and coordination with TPAs, regulators, and internal teams.

You will manage claims from notice through resolution, review for completeness and compliance, prepare reports, and assist with regulatory filings and examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in insurance, business, finance, risk management, or related field.
• Strong claims management experience in traditional carrier, MGA, or TPA environment.
• Thorough understanding of the claims lifecycle and policy language; CPCU a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the claims process from initial notice through resolution.
• Review claims for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policy terms and procedures.
• Coordinate claims investigations with policyholders, adjusters, attorneys, TPAs, and vendors.
• Prepare claims reports and updates for management and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with regulatory submissions, filings, and documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate claim files and documentation.
• Assist with claim evaluations, reserve updates, settlements, and payment processing.
