Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or minimum 8 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and technical training combined.
• Designated for California adjusting or ability to achieve within 9 months from placement into position.
• A minimum of 8 years of work experience in workers compensation insurance claims adjusting, claims operations, or a closely related function, with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, and develop indemnity claim teams through effective management of Claim Supervisors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Ensure claims are administered in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, case law, and company standards, while achieving strong results in internal and external claim audits.
• Monitor operational and individual performance metrics, implementing strategies and corrective actions to improve claim quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and claim outcomes.
• Provide oversight and guidance on complex, high-exposure, litigated, and strategically significant claims, ensuring sound claim resolution strategies and appropriate risk management practices.
• Promote and safeguard the financial integrity of claim files through timely and accurate reserving, settlement authority oversight, and effective claim cost containment practices.
