Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a commercial lines claims environment.
• Strong knowledge of reserving practices and coverage analysis.
• Proven ability to coach and develop claims professionals.
• Experience managing litigated claims and defense counsel.
• Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a high-performing commercial lines claims team across liability, construction defect, E&O, and EPLI claims.
• Provide technical leadership on complex coverage, liability, damages, litigation, and reserving issues.
• Oversee litigation management, including selection of defense counsel and budgeting.
• Monitor claims performance, reserve adequacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Build partnerships with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and sales leadership.
