Qualifikationen

• JD from an accredited law school; Bachelor’s degree.
• Must obtain and maintain insurance adjuster licenses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Directly handle and oversee commercial and financial lines D&O, E&O, EPL, Fiduciary and Crime/Fidelity claims.
• Manage claims through initial contact, investigation, evaluation of coverage, reserving and resolution.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate policies to determine coverage.
• Resolve coverage issues with outside counsel when needed.
• Prepare written reports and present claims developments to management, underwriting, actuary and reinsurers.
• Comply with statutory regulations and Unfair Claims Practices Acts.
• Communicate claim developments and exposure analyses to claims management.
• Participate in mediations and settlements to drive resolution.
• Collaborate with underwriting and partners to analyze claim trends and policy language.
• Attend meetings with insureds and brokers with underwriting.
• Work with outside vendors and attorneys to manage budgets and litigation oversight.
