Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing seeks a Claims Examiner in the Great Neck area to manage complex bodily injury, property damage, and litigated third‑party liability claims for commercial auto and business policies.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims, coordinating with attorneys, TPAs, claimants, and internal teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in P&C claims and coverage analysis, with strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years handling third-party liability claims including bodily injury and property damage.
• Experience with litigated claims and coordination with attorneys/TPAs.
• Knowledge of coverage analysis, reserves, and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve third-party liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, mediators, and TPAs on litigated claims.
• Review police reports, medical records, and insurance documents to assess liability and exposure.
• Evaluate reserves, settlement strategies, and resolution plans following guidelines and state laws.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and providers.
• Maintain detailed electronic claim records and status updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams on strategy and litigation management.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Manage multiple open claims with timely follow-ups.
