Pie Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to independently manage workers’ compensation claims from setup to closure and to drive an industry-leading claims experience while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of workers’ compensation experience, active state licensing, and strong analytical and communication skills. This remote US role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5-years workers’ compensation claim adjusting experience is required.
• Preferred claims experience in multiple jurisdictions listed (AL, AR, CO, CT, DC, DE, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NE, NH, OK, RI, TX, VT, WI, WV).

Responsabilidades

• Independently handle all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from setup to closure.
• Evaluate high dollar, high exposure, complex claims.
• Conduct timely 3-point contact investigation with evolving facts.
• Set and adjust timely reserves within authority limits.
• Present claims to senior management and stakeholders.
• Administer statutory medical and indemnity benefits.
• Comply with statutory guidelines and regulations.
• Manage legal activity with defense counsel and costs.
• Prioritize early resolution opportunities and negotiate settlements.
• Serve as a point of contact for partner agents and customers.
• Provide claim status updates and loss run reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service and advocate for a leading claims experience.
• Identify gaps in claim processes and drive improvements.
