Job summary

Sedgwick seeks an experienced Sr. Adjuster to assess claims, determine coverage, and settle first and third party matters. You will interview claimants, review evidence, and negotiate settlements while maintaining strong client relationships and quality service.

A state license and IIAs designation are required, with at least two years of related experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and independent work within a collaborative team environment across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and professional licensing required.
• IIA-AIC designation required and state adjuster license.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect claims and contact involved parties promptly.
• Investigate claims for coverage, cause and reserves.
• Review policies to determine coverage.
• Prepare estimates for repair costs.
• Interview claimants and witnesses.
• Negotiate and settle first and third party claims.
• Maintain client relationships to encourage referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
