Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Senior Adjuster to investigate claims and negotiate settlements across personal, casualty, and property losses. You will assess coverage, interview claimants and witnesses, and examine records to determine liability.

This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and independent judgment. You will prepare detailed reports, revise case reserves, and may participate in litigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; IIA-AIC designation pursued.
• Active state adjuster license required.
• 5 years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims for personal, casualty, or property loss.
• Interview claimants and witnesses; inspect property.
• Estimate costs; prepare reports; negotiate settlements.
• Assist in litigation; revise reserves; participate in loss experience reporting.
• Travel as required.
