Qualifications

• External candidates should have a minimum of four years of prior claims experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; completion of a major insurance designation or related courses is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and bondable status required.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts large or complex losses in their entirety.
• Completes all procedural requirements as outlined in manuals.
• Investigates complex losses with appropriate rigor.
• May assist with catastrophe claims across the territory.
• Maintains control of litigated files and monitors legal expenses.
• Represents the Company in public relations and internal trainings.
