Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims experience, including ability to negotiate settlements, verify coverage, set reserves, and conduct investigations in line with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receives new claim assignments of moderate to complex nature and analyzes the claim to determine required investigation and handling.
• Determines indemnity issues or questions of coverage per guidelines and principals.
• Performs timely investigations and proper reserve changes within delegated authority.
• Manages and negotiates timely and equitable claim payments and settlements per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains case diaries and accurate documentation; provides required reports to agencies.
