Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency, Atlanta-based, seeks a Senior Claim Account Executive to lead commercial property and casualty claims management within the commercial insurance team. You will mentor colleagues and coordinate with clients, TPAs, and insurers to optimize outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of P&C claims experience, an active Insurance Adjuster’s License, brokerage background, and solid knowledge of applicable laws and complex construction claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five or more years of experience in commercial property and casualty claims.
• Expertise with complex construction claims, OCIPs, CCIPs, builders risk losses.
• Insurance Adjuster’s License required.
• Prior brokerage experience preferred.
• Familiarity with case laws and claim resolution practices across industries.
• Specialization within an industry vertical is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain complex issues.
• Understanding insurance policies and contracts in English.
• Experience presenting and writing technical reports.
• Continued education and professional association involvement.
• Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Experience researching resources online.
• ARM or AIC designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach commercial claim representatives in managing and advising on claims for clients and prospects.
• Provide support for solving complex claims and leading claim consulting teams.
• Serve as strategic advisor to owners/developers/contractors.
• Advise clients on claim strategy, settlements, litigation, reserves, RORs and denials.
• Coordinate among TPA, insurer, client, internal stakeholders and service teams.

• ExperiencenavigatingtheInternetandseekingothersourcesforresourcesandresearch
• AssociateinRiskManagement(ARM)orAssociateinClaims(AIC)designation

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Multi-line claim experience
• Knowledge of insurance underwriting, loss control and claims processes
