Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an Account Consultant to manage a claim caseload from basic to highly complex within authority limits. You will mentor Account Representatives and Account Specialists while maintaining strong client relationships and timely communication.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and state adjuster licenses, plus approximately six years of related experience. You will apply legal and medical knowledge to assess exposure and support efficient settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjuster licenses required.
• Six years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages a claim caseload from basic to highly complex within granted authority; mentors Account Representatives and Account Specialists.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients and coworkers; communicates effectively and timely.
• Mentors/coaches team members; facilitates round table discussions.
• Investigates, evaluates and resolves claims; interprets medical reports and applicable law.
• Applies jurisdictional and medical knowledge to assess indemnity, medical and expense exposure.
• Prepares information and analysis on file strategies, status, and trends for clients.
• Manages litigation in coordination with clients and legal representatives to resolve claims.
• Ensures compliance and minimizes financial liability; documents and tracks jurisdictional requirements.
