Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Division in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Civil Transportation Engineer to lead complex roadway and transportation improvements. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of civil design experience with a PE in California or ability to reciprocity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
• ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D and other engineering design software proficiency is required.
• InRoads/OpenRoads experience is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise to diverse roadway projects for design-build and design-bid-build.
• Develop roadway/transportation design documents and specifications.
• Mentor team members and support project management with scheduling and budgeting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and client service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transportation solutions.
