Job summary

The role includes sitework planning, foundations, and enclosures, as well as transmission line analyses up to 230kV. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and a PE license (or 8+ years as a practicing engineer). Travel up to 25% of work hours within Nevada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school; PE license required or 8+ years as practicing engineer if no PE.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering expertise for substation/sitework plans, foundations, and control enclosures.
• Perform transmission line engineering analyses, route selection, and design calculations up to 230kV.
• Acquire construction approvals and permits from applicable authorities.
• Develop economical, reliable civil/structural designs with minimal supervision; provide cost estimates and scheduling input.
• Mentor staff, perform peer reviews, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project success.
