Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil Superintendent for a long-term energy services project in Sherman, TX. You will oversee all civil construction activities, lead crews and subcontractors, ensure safety, and manage project schedules and budgets.

You will read plans, supervise quality control, coordinate with project managers and clients, and maintain comprehensive on-site documentation. A strong leadership background and 7–10 years in similar roles are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in a Civil Superintendent or similar supervisory role in energy services/heavy civil construction.
• Proven track record managing civil construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate civil construction activities including earthwork, concrete, foundations and underground utilities.
• Supervise civil crews, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure safety and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, drawings and codes/regulations.
• Enforce safety policies with regular meetings and inspections; manage schedules and resources.
• Maintain daily reports, progress logs, and documentation; coordinate with PMs, engineers, and clients.
• Identify issues on-site and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
