Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead civil construction projects within the Civil Group. You will plan, coordinate, and execute earthwork, grading, concrete pours, foundations, and utilities while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, supervising field teams and subcontractors, reviewing plans, and reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil construction supervision, preferably within the energy or heavy industrial sector.
• Proven track record of delivering complex civil projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Expertise in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects.
• Develop and implement project schedules with milestones and proactively address delays.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Review blueprints and project documents to ensure accurate execution.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, clients and stakeholders.
• Manage project resources to optimize efficiency and control costs.
• Prepare daily and progress reports; participate in project meetings.
