Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer IV in Metairie, LA to design equipment, components, structures or systems and to lead projects with offshore experience and a PE license. You will prepare specs, perform calculations, review vendor drawings, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors and designers to ensure timely, within-budget delivery while following HSSE standards.

This senior role requires an ABET-accredited degree, 8+ years of experience, and ability to lead small scopes

Qualifications

PE license is required.
Offshore experience is required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience preferred.
Small/medium project lead experience preferred.
Working knowledge of steel structures is required.
Working knowledge of design codes (AISC, API) preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare intermediate to advanced specifications detailing client performance requirements and design codes.
Develop engineering sketches, perform calculations and create analysis models for moderately complex projects.
Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Adhere to HSSE standards and company procedures.
Visit jobsites to evaluate conditions and requirements.
Lead small scope projects and manage day-to-day workload.
