Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Civil Structural Engineer in Rock Hill, SC to support structural design activities for buildings and infrastructure in a nuclear context.

You will work under the Building Engineering & Physical Design group, reporting to the Manager of BOP Design and Module Fabrication Support. Hybrid work arrangements are available at the manager's discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• Minimum 8+ years of civil/structural experience in design environments.
• Interest in nuclear industry and pursuing FE/EIT/PE certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate civil/structural systems for buildings and infrastructure.
• Perform structural evaluations and resolve design issues during fabrication and construction.
• Provide technical justification for changes and support on-site projects.
