Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional engineer registration is required; California PE a plus.
• Having an NCEES Record is desired; expected to be obtained within 6 months of joining.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and structural design; 10 years in refining or petrochemical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSA design across projects, including shallow and deep foundations and steel structures.
• Perform FE analysis, retaining wall design, and code compliance (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NFPA).
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring to CSA engineers and designers, and support project estimates.
• Prepare engineering sketches and deliver structural calculations for client review.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, fabrication shops, and construction to ensure on-time delivery.
