Job summary

BCP Engineers & Consultants seeks a Senior Designer - Civil/Structural for a hybrid role (remote 75%, onsite 25%). The project focus includes complex industrial and power facilities with opportunities to guide design through construction support.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of civil/structural design experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and foundations. Occasional travel and field assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in drafting/engineering tech.
• 15+ years civil/structural design experience for industrial facilities.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AVEVA E3D/PDMS; AVEVA preferred.
• Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations.
• Experience delivering civil/structural deliverables for new and retrofit projects.
• Ability to lead complex design efforts with minimal supervision.
• Good leadership, mentoring, communication, and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel and perform field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex industrial and power projects with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical leadership for civil/structural design from concept through construction support.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate multidisciplinary work.
