Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join the Civil & Geotech Practice within the Design & Engineering department. The role focuses on site civil design for industrial, healthcare, commercial, and mixed-use projects in the Southeast, collaborating closely with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of site civil experience, PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months), and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of hire.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for site grading and design.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics.
• Experience with land disturbance permitting and NPDES compliance in Southeast states.
• Ability to collaborate across preconstruction, construction, and engineering teams while managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site civil design for building projects from schematic to construction documents.
• Support design-build pursuits with conceptual site schemes and civil cost input.
• Coordinate permitting across multiple jurisdictions and manage timelines.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, VDC, and external civil consultants on site interfaces.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of site drawings and calculations.
• Support field operations with sequencing, earthwork, and erosion control coordination.
