Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join the Civil & Geotech Practice within Design & Engineering. You will lead site civil design for industrial, healthcare, and commercial projects, coordinating with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams to ensure constructability and cost-effectiveness.

The role targets Senior Engineer I/II level with 6–12 years of site civil experience, PE licensure, and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
6–12 years of site civil experience with land development focus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for site grading and design.
Familiarity with AL/GA NPDES permitting and land disturbance.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead site civil engineering for building projects from schematic through construction documents.
Design grading, earthwork, and sequencing with field operations.
Develop stormwater and drainage designs including detention/retention.
Layout utilities in coordination with MEP and civil teams.
Prepare permit-ready documents and comply with licensing requirements.
Coordinate with design-build teams and external consultants on civil scope.
