Job summary

Dynamic Engineering is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead due diligence investigations and the design/engineering analyses of retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site layouts. You will review zoning ordinances, prepare site plans, grading designs, and stormwater systems while coordinating with clients and project teams across our national footprint.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years in civil site engineering, and are EIT-certified; PE is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and EIT certification.
3+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting).
PE registration preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a personal or company vehicle.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulic design software.

Responsibilities

Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances to determine land development limitations for the property.
Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports including ordinance reviews and site visits.
Prepare Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary Grading Plans.
Design Stormwater Management and Stormwater Conveyance Systems and utility systems.
Prepare construction cost estimates and project proposals; manage budgets.
Coordinate with client, other consultants, and project team for site plan applications.
Prepare technical drainage and sanitary sewer reports; written correspondence to agencies.
Present to planning boards and municipal agencies; lead in team environments.
Perform other duties as assigned; support staff development and mentoring.
Proficient in design tools and regulatory review processes; strong communication skills.
