Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC in Texas is seeking a Project Engineer to lead due diligence investigations and the design of retail, commercial, industrial and residential site layouts. The role involves coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive site plans and permitting strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of civil site design experience, an active EIT and a PE license, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years’ civil site engineering and permitting experience.
• EIT required; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review zoning and land development ordinances to determine land development limits.
• Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports with ordinance and utility research.
• Prepare Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary grading designs.
• Design Stormwater Management and conveyance systems; utility and erosion control plans.
• Prepare construction cost estimates and project proposals.
• Manage project budgets and coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Prepare technical reports (drainage, sanitary sewer, site investigations).
• Present to planning boards and municipal agencies; coordinate with project teams.
• Assist with written correspondence to outside agencies and clients.
• Lead in a team environment with staff development and mentoring.
