Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil construction projects focused on utilities, excavation, and site development in Lehi, Utah. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience managing civil construction projects and a proven track record of delivering complex projects from preconstruction through completion.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and teams, coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders, and ensure safety and on-time,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with underground utilities, excavation, grading, or site development.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, costs, and overall profitability.
• Oversee project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field operations.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Manage underground utilities, excavation, grading, and site development projects.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to company leadership.
• Identify and resolve project issues to keep work moving efficiently.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Mentor and provide leadership to Project Managers and Project Engineers.
