Job summary

GPD Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Civil Project Manager with 8+ years of design experience to lead site development projects in the Federal, Retail/Commercial, Educational and Healthcare sectors.

You will mentor the Site Development team, coordinate with Clients and Engineers, ensure quality standards and budget alignment, and oversee multi-disciplinary design through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years design experience in Federal, Retail/Commercial, Educational or Healthcare spaces.
• PE License required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience as a market leader, interfacing with clients and managing projects at design and coordination levels.
• Read and understand project requirements, plans, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD.
• Proficient with stormwater modeling and management.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking across projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines in Site Development to deliver civil site infrastructure design.
• Develop and execute strategic actions aligned with Site Development and company goals.
• Engage with clients and manage programs to grow the team and meet revenue goals.
• Provide technical oversight of the design process for civil site development and stormwater management.
• Mentor and develop Site Development staff and ensure quality standards.
• Oversee administrative tasks, workflow, scheduling, QA and adherence to scope and budget.
