Job summary

Ward Getz & Associates LLC (WGA) is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead project lifecycles from inception through closeout in Texas. You will coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, manage QA/QC, schedules, and budgets, and report progress to leadership.

A PE license and 5+ years in civil engineering with PM experience are required. You will drive client relations with Client Managers, oversee invoicing and Ajera usage, and mentor staff while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the project team and own the full project lifecycle from inception to closeout.
Conduct weekly meetings and coordinate with internal and external subcontractors.
Ensure QA/QC standards, schedules, and financial management are met.
Provide project updates to Practice Manager or Practice Leader on progress, challenges, opportunities.
Manage projects to high completion levels, targeting ≥95%.
Draft proposals and budgets with the team ensuring accuracy and client alignment.
Oversee invoicing, budget tracking, and Ajera project management systems.
Lead and coach staff, providing guidance and motivation.
Ensure plans align with company standards and best practices.
Develop client relationships with Client Managers to meet expectations.
Participate in engineering associations and professional development activities.
Create work plans with milestones and resource allocation.
Demonstrate leadership in project management and client service.
