Job summary

Ward Getz & Associates LLC (WGA) is seeking a Project Manager to join its Site Development team in Texas. The role entails coordinating with clients, engineers, and support staff to drive projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will have a PE in Texas, 5+ years of civil design experience, and proven leadership in managing teams and client relationships. The firm emphasizes quality, collaboration, and innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• P.E. designation in the State of Texas.
• 5+ years of civil design experience with at least 2 years leading a team and managing clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and oversee the full project lifecycle from inception to closeout.
• Conduct weekly meetings and maintain effective communication with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure QA/QC standards, schedules, and budgets are met.
• Provide project updates to Practice Manager or Practice Leader on progress and opportunities.
• Manage projects to a minimum of 95% completion in identified competency areas.
• Draft proposals and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
• Oversee project accounting including invoicing and budget tracking in Ajera.
• Lead staff management, coaching, and motivation of team members.
• Ensure plans comply with company standards and industry best practices.
• Develop client relationships and coordinate with Client Managers to meet client needs.
• Engage in professional development and industry networks through engineering associations.
