Jobot is seeking a dynamic Project Manager for our civil construction team in Pleasanton, CA. You will lead projects from inception through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry with a civil focus.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures and PM principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, budgeting, and risk management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans aligning customer requirements with company goals and coordinate managers and technical personnel.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Manage project progress to keep schedule and budget.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specs and codes.
• Prepare internal and external reports on status, progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals as needed.
• Resolve on-site challenges and adapt plans as necessary.
