Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Naperville, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead project teams in land development for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

You will oversee design, quality control, budgeting, and mentoring of junior engineers, coordinating site layouts, grading, stormwater facilities, and utilities from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 10+ years' civil engineering experience; site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to mentor staff.
• Civil design and permitting experience in layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control.
• Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverables.
• Proven ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution.
• Interface with clients, network, and develop business.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams to create land development plans for clients.
• Oversee budgeting, quality control, and client interfacing.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Review site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality BMPs, and utilities.
• Lead projects from concept through design, regulatory review, bidding, and construction.
