Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil engineering experience in private-sector land and site development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil engineering and land-development projects from design through completion.
• Lead projects through entitlement, site design, permitting, construction administration, and closeout.
• Manage 4–7 active projects simultaneously with 6–8 month average duration.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with municipalities, consultants, contractors and developers.
• Lead a team of ~6 engineers and design professionals.
• Review plans for accuracy, constructability and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform 20–30% hands-on design review as needed.
• Address grading, drainage, stormwater, utility coordination and permitting.
• Mentor younger engineers and support business development.
