Job summary

Soltesz in Lanham, MD is seeking a Senior Project Manager for civil engineering and land development leadership. You will manage projects, mentor engineers and designers, oversee performance, and grow lasting client relationships.

The role emphasizes strong technical plan development, staff supervision, and collaboration with senior leadership to meet company goals and drive profitable growth across our Washington, DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Maryland Professional Engineer license.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering and land development experience.
• 5+ years of staff management experience.
• Strong technical plan development and review capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, delegation, and communication skills.
• Suburban Maryland experience preferred.
• Prince George’s County experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development projects
• Manage client relationships and provide responsive service
• Supervise, mentor, and develop project staff
• Oversee project quality, staffing, schedules, budgets, profitability, and invoicing
• Prepare proposals, scopes, and fee estimates
