Soltesz is seeking a Senior Technical Manager – Land Development to serve as a technical authority for our engineering teams and projects throughout the Washington metropolitan region. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who wants to remain deeply engaged in technical work while helping guide engineering excellence across the firm.

Join Soltesz to lead in-depth reviews, mentor teams, and influence engineering standards across multiple projects in the D.C. area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 20+ years of land development civil engineering experience.
• Maryland regulations and local jurisdictions knowledge.
• MD PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance on land development projects.
• Review plans, calculations, reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Support site design, grading, stormwater management, utility, and roadway solutions.
• Advise project teams on complex engineering and regulatory issues.
• Support QA/QC initiatives and technical best practices.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource across multiple projects.
