Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager for the Tampa, FL location. The role involves oversight of construction projects, producing design drawings, and coordinating with inspectors to ensure quality and compliance.

The candidate should have a BS in civil or related field, a Florida PE license (or ability to obtain/transfer within 1 year), and 10+ years of relevant experience in design, permitting, earthwork, utilities, stormwater, and roadway projects using AutoCAD and hydrology software.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in Florida or ability to transfer within 1 year.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing oversight on construction projects and coordinating with inspectors.
• Developing conceptual, preliminary, and final construction design drawings.
• Assisting with preparation of construction plans, detail drawings, and specifications.
• Reviewing plans, performing roadway alignment calculations, and utility research.
• Assisting with permitting submittals.
• Performing quantity calculations and cost opinions.
