Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Project Manager in Texas to lead land development, utilities and drainage design projects. You will oversee engineering scope, manage schedules and budgets, and develop change orders in line with established standards.

You will interact with clients, prepare permit applications, coordinate with authorities, and support bidding and construction awards. The role emphasizes QA on public works projects across surveying, hydraulics, and water/wastewater design.

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope according to technical standards, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules and budgets
• Maintain a high level of quality and responsiveness to client requirements in alignment with Lynn Engineering standards
• Interact regularly with clients, which includes maintaining current relationships and developing new relationships
• Assist with preparing project permit applications and supporting documents and coordinate with the approving agency
• Obtaining approval of project plans and specification from reviewing authorities
• Assisting clients with bidding and awarding construction projects
• Oversee and assist with civil engineering design activities and quality assurance and control across public works projects: surveying, lift stations, hydraulics and hydrology, subsurface utility engineering, water and wastewater design, construction management
