HEPCO, Inc. seeks a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure in Maynard, MA. You will manage projects from concept through construction, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients and officials to enhance critical infrastructure.

The role demands 15+ years in civil engineering with hydraulic design experience, AutoCAD, and proficiency in hydraulic modeling and control systems. A PE license is required.

Qualifications

• 15 years of civil engineering experience
• 5+ years of hydraulic design experience in water/wastewater systems
• Experience designing pump stations, wet wells, pumping systems, and associated controls
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software, and control system design
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, officials, and agencies

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic design projects for municipal water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment facilities
• Design pump stations with wet wells, pumping systems, electrical controls, telemetry, and automation
• Manage projects from concept through design, permitting, construction and commissioning
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
• Represent clients in meetings with municipal officials, city councils, and boards
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development
• Apply hydraulic modeling software and engineering technologies to solve problems
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and communities served
