Job Title: Senior Civil Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Location: Phoenix or Mesa, AZ area

Salary: $80K-200k+ depending on experience.

Requirements: Required - BS in Civil Engineering, AZ Professional Engineer's license or ability to quickly obtain AZ professional engineer registration. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Water/Wastewater-related design. Relevant experience shall include design of collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Engineer to manage and oversee water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering with a focus on water resources and wastewater treatment. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and delivering high-quality engineering design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct engineering design, analysis, and feasibility studies for water and wastewater systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
• Review and approve project deliverables and ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software tools for design and documentation purposes.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and communication.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in water resources and wastewater treatment.
