Water Resources Design Engineer (Water or Wastewater) - Remote

Due to expansion, our multi-discipline firm is seeking a Water Resources Design Engineer for our Water Resources Practice. CP Engineers, Architecture & Environmental Services has forty years of experience in site/civil, water/wastewater, municipal, MEP, and environmental services. Our project portfolio includes private, municipal, county, and regional clients, some of whom have been with our firm for three decades.

Responsibilities
  1. Design water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution/collection systems
  2. Conduct feasibility studies for water resources projects
  3. Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, and contract documents
  4. Perform site inspections and assessments to support design and construction efforts
  5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering
  • Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
